Sunday, May 9th, 2010

For, he that expects nothing shall not be disappointed, but he that expects much – if he lives and uses that in hand day by day – shall be full to running over.
Edgar Cayce

In Cabalistic terms, this is called “building your vessel” so it can hold more, more, more. Do you agree with the above quote, and with the Cabalistic terms, and if not – why?

Personally, the older that I get – the less I want to posses. Fewer possesions (things) mean less baggage and worries.
Still – I am not ready to give away everything that I have. Any idea as to how come? And is it because I am a prisoner of this society? And it’s laws and values? And if so – how am I to break free?

Are there others struggling with the same questions? And if so – how do you solve this frustrating puzzle?

Be always Fabulous, and have a great week ahead…

The “Invisible Counselors Technique” of Napoleon Hill

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

Many of you have read Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”, but the following video talks about just one of the techniques in his book – the “Invisible Counselors Technique”. If you haven’t read the book, here is link on Scribd for a free downloadable copy of it.

This technique has a lot to do with Burt Goldman’s Quantum Jumping programme and I do recommend it highly. It’s easy to do, and it’s fun – if you have the right mind set that is. The link to Quantum Jumping here above is NOT an affiliate link and goes directly to the site.

Would like to talk, and talk, and talk, but time is short right now.
Stay always Fabulous

Integrity in the Internet Marketing Arena…

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Yesterday I visited Michel Fortin’s blog for another great read – “On Not Playing The Blame Game.” His post is linking to a post on the Ryan Healy’s blog – “Internet Marketing on Life Support,” and both posts have to do with integrity in business, among other things. I highly recommend you take the time to read both posts, and the comments on these posts too.

One of the pillars in business is integrity, and to offer more value to the customers than they are paying for. How much of the theory is there in present times one might ask? It all depends on what buyers are looking for. And especially so online. In the many niches of products online – the Internet Marketing arena is the one that gets the attention not only from the people in need of making more monthly due to the hard economic times. The FTC changed their rules and are cracking down on misleading advertisements since December 1st of 2009. While Visa and Master card did a crack down on many Internet Marketers merchant accounts.

The question is – why, now? And is it because of the high refund rates? Or is it because of the misleading advertisements? Or, because of the many complaints against the un-asked for monthly payments, and the difficulties to unsubscribe from these? My guess is – all of the above, and even more.

Astute marketers know that in tough economic times more people will be vulnerable while in search of the golden egg. If these same marketers make their offers sound easy to do for everyone – like 1, 2, 3 – more of these people in search of earning more right now will be buying what they have to offer. Some of these people are already broke, and are taking as a last step a loan to be able to buy this “golden egg.” 98 to 99% of these same people end up not only totally broke, but also alienating the family, or friends they took the loan from to be able to cover the high expense of the “golden egg” product.

Many of you have seen the products between 2 to 3 thousand US Dollars, and know what most of these promise in their sales offer. The problem with people is – they are in love with the dream to be able to make it to the top. They do not even finish the course, and the books that they purchase. However without the work – non of these “Make yourself a Online Millionaire” courses will make one such a Millionaire.

And, than the question arises, of the remaining 1 or 2% that did the work – how many did become wealthy Online due to these courses and seminars? Well, some did, but most of them did not. The Salty Droid goes much more in depth about the various Internet Marketers that are making use of astute techniques on his blog, and I do recommend you to check his blog in depth.

Is any integrity left in the Online business arena? Of course there is. There are plenty of honest and integer Internet Marketers. Be aware that there are also the not so honest once, and ask yourself up front one single question: “Am I going to take action, and do the work, or am I buying it just to have it on my hard drive, or on my book shelf and keep dreaming instead of doing the required work?” If your answer is the second one – do NOT buy whatsoever offered – even if it makes you dream of riches and fame…

Keep always fabulous and integer.

What are we Up To in 2010?

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

It is again this time of the year when we all start pondering what we want to reach during the New Year – 2010. There are so many things that I’d love to reach, or to do, and achieve, however, when placing the dots on the “I” – the question -”What’s the point in making resolutions while non of it, or very little of it will be achieved” starts nagging at me?

Thinking about it – I would need at least 3 lifetimes all in one to be able to achieve at least 50% of it all.

There is one, and according to me – the most important thing that I should get straight in 2010, and this is my health. And whatever needed to be done should be done, such as stopping with smoking, and start with some kind of easy exercises, and with walking – preferably outside whenever weather permits it at least.

In the last week, I started using a few Holistic, or Energetic Medicines that will help to enhance my mind-body connection, and some natural healing solutions that will help with reversing my chronic health conditions, such as the asthma, and the daily headaches.

The Precious Prills and Crystal Pearls, and the Ausome Beads are a few of the products that I am using at the moment, and can recommend these highly to everyone wishing to start with
natural medicines. Simply visit this website and take a look and read the info available. And no, this are not affiliate links but a direct links to the Life Enthusiast website, and the products that I mentioned earlier.

On the following capture you might be able to see how I use one of the Crystal Pearls for energizing the water in the Crystal Head vodka bottle that I had as Christmas present from a friend. And I wrote about it on my Crystal Skull blog several days ago.

When “It Hits the Fan” and “Catch 22″…

Friday, October 30th, 2009

Sometimes phrases and cliches slip into our speech and we take these for granted
without questioning where these came from, or, why we are using things that we
heard from others, or from movies and TV shows.

There is nothing wrong with it but we should consider that advertising agencies
and copy writers thrive from these as well.

We become brainwashed more often than not just because some phrases that
we use ourselves are unconsciously burned into our brains, and we therefore
fall into the trap of buying a product or a service that used in their advertising
the exact phrase we used, or keep using.

For the title I set a part of the well known “When the shit hits the fan,” and it’s
meaning is: “Messy and exciting consequences brought about by a previously
secret situation becoming public.” And you could check out the rest on phrases.org.uk.

Have you ever asked yourself, how come we humans watch TV programs or
movies when these type of phrases are used in their titles, or descriptions?
And does it has to do with some part of our ability to forget for a moment our
own troubles when we can watch and laugh at the same type of troubles that
others are having? And is this the same part of our consciousness that makes
us laugh when someone near us drops on the floor, or falls from his bike? And
all the people nearby keep watching and laughing even though the person is
embarrassed and in pain?

The other one, “the catch 22′s” meaning is: “A paradox in which the attempt
to escape makes escape impossible.” Check again phrases.org.uk for it’s origin etc. Paradoxes have always fascinated me in the same way these controversies do. And this
according to me is part of being a human with a bit of intelligence up it’s
shoulders. However, than – the question arises: How can an intelligent
person act so stupidly and laugh when another is in pain, or embarrassed?

Here is a very nice video about the Catch 22 in letting go…

On another note – you’ve probably noticed the new look of totally-useless.com,
and it’s half-finished appearance – meaning: blank advertisements and such.
There are some health issues going, and, than – Vista is becoming a major
annoyance and I have all kind of problems with my WP interface and IE8
experience. However, somewhere next week I’ll have the Windows 7 and
so hope that I’ll be able to work better and surf well when online from there on.

For the US readers of totally-useless – wishing you a Happy and Scary Halloween
for tomorrow, and blessed All Saints to the once that celebrate it in the rest of the world.
Keep yourselves healthy, and awesome and be always fabulous, whatever you do :)

Patrick Swayze is no more…

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Yesterday was really a bad day for all the fans of Patrick Swayze, and for his family and friends. The actor lost the battle against cancer and left many with broken hearts. My favorite of his was the “Ghost” movie, and I remember how touched I was, and how much I cried while watching this hit movie. And not once but I think three times in a week or so as I couldn’t get enough of it…

At times I wonder how many of these type of post will be here on totally-useless.com in the end, when I will stop posting one day… Not that I am planning to stop any time soon. It’s just that in the past few months I wrote about several stars that passed away, and it’s such a pity that science still hasn’t found the cure, or cures for all type of cancers.

This video is from Patrick Swayze while dancing with his wife Lisa Nieme to the song All The Man That I Need as a salute to multiple award winner Whitney Houston in 1994. And it’s such a beautiful expression of the Love between Patrick and Lisa, that it made me cry…
Nevertheless at least she has the memory of it, and maybe, just maybe, his Ghost movie might recount what his wife will be experiencing shortly…
