Love Beyond the Death…

Monday, March 28th, 2011

Love at times goes on even beyond the borders of death. The beautiful 36 years Brazilian actress Cibele Dorsa allegedly killed herself by jumping from her 7th floor appartment window in Sao Paolo. Dorsa’s partner Gilberto Scalpa, a well known Brazilian tv-presentator, had killed himself at the end of January 2011 in exactly the same way, by jumping from the window of the appartment. The two were planning to marry later this year.

Cibele Dorsa did leave a “good bye” Tweet before jumping with a link to this video, with photos of herself and Scalpa:

The actress was the divorced mother of two children, one of 10 and one of 13 years. The children are living with their father in Europe. Such a sad, sad story, and may both Cibele and Gilberto rest in piece and be together…

I was not able to write about all of this before as I broke a rib by a fall from the stairs, and sitting and writing were not possible for a while.
In the mean time International aid teams from 70 countries continue their efforts there. And while Japan appeals for International Aid to fight against a probable meltdown at the Fukushima nuclear plant many in Europe are against the planned new nuclear plants.

In a nationally televised address Tuesday, Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan said radiation has spread from the reactors that make up the earthquake-damaged Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant in northern Japan and warned that anyone within a 30 kilometer, or 19 mile radius should stay inside or risk getting radiation sickness. The Associated Press reported that some 180,000 people within a 12 mile radius of the affected area had already been evacuated. Click here to read MORE
