The truth about Puppy Mills – Totally Scandalous!

Thursday, October 11th, 2007

In fact I do not own a dog but I do have 7 cats. Today I took from the shelter the 7th one. And you might ask why am I mentioning it? Because I did not buy the cat via a site on the Internet, nor did I buy it from a pet shop. I went to the shelter in my town last Saturday and after a careful consideration, I decided together with my partner in taking one of these poor cats.

Today I also came across a site explaining all the wrong doings of the puppy mill industry, where the breeders have dogs producing litter after litter, after litter, adding to the pet population problem with each one of these. So sad actually but true.

A friend of mine from MyLot pointed me to the above site, and I was shaken after viewing the video there. Please go to the STOP Puppy Mills site and watch the short video that exposes the cruelty of puppy mill dog auctions. You will learn the truth about the puppy mills, and how inhumane the puppy mill industry actually is.

And here is an other good video for you

Nostalgic thoughts, originally uploaded by thomyneel.

Photos like the two here make me wonder about the beauties surrounding us here on Earth. And how many of us do see these? Do you have the eyes to notice the beauty arround you? And have you had the insights of the Celestine Prophecy? Have you read the books, or seen the movies? I re-read the books and saw the 1st movie again last night, and cannot stop wondering where do we go from here.

Is it Useless to Be a Pundit?

Advice for Ann Coulter, originally uploaded by TheeErin.

An article on Forbes today, called “The Top Pundits in America” made me ponder what it is that makes a pundit behave like God on Earth. And are they loved and admired, or are they hated? And if they are hated why do they stick to what they have become?

Pundit, as described in the dictionary is “a person who makes comments or judgments, especially in an authoritative manner; critic or commentator.”

This blog: marathonpundit.blogspot.com is an example of a blogger that loves to call himself so. There are many pundits that write hateful stuff about celebrities, or VIP’s, and have a large daily public that reads avidly everything they have to criticize. I only hope that I will not become one any time soon, as I’d rather make people think about how useless, or usefull stuff in our life is, or is not. Wishing you a nice day and talk to you soon.

About Totally Disgusting stuff…

Sunday, October 7th, 2007

Today was one of the totally useless days for me as I wasn’t able to perform, or do any of the planned to do things. I did take sometime to check YouTube, and what I found among other videos was the following one – here bellow. However please, be sure to NOT be eating while watching it, as I will not be responsible if you have to puke! It is for the once with the stomach for it really. I was filled with disgust and got cold shivers all over my body from it, and keep saying – this cannot be for real. What is this stuff? How is it possible, and is it infectious?

Did you watch it? What are your thoughts in regards? And have you heard or seen anything like it before? I was aware that most of us do have some worms inside our guts, and bowels, but didn’t know that worms could come crawling from out your face while alive, no, I still cannot imagine how this could be happening. And the video looks like for real, and the guy is living and breathing too.

I’ve been doing some research about the damage that worms could be causing us, and found info that some of the worms within our bodies could cause cancer. And have you ever heard something about it? And no, I haven’t, and did know nothing about it until I started looking for info. Don’t you find it strange that we are not warned by our doctors about the dangers worms within our bodies could cause to our health? Well, I definitely do, and in fact I am planning to do something about it. However this will be for another post, and when I have done the cure and can tell you more in regards, and how to find the info for yourselves.

And here is a video with the worms in the stomach of a living person :

Talk to you soon and have a great week ahead.

Some news

Friday, October 5th, 2007

Ok, it’s been a few very busy days for me, and in the mean time the news from around the world, and especially news that is bothering me keeps happening.
Yesterday was the Free Burma Bloggers Day, and from the news on TV and the papers the only better news from Burma was that the junta chief is willing to meet opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi if she meets major preconditions including ending her support for sanctions on the regime. They keep arresting people however, and many foreign governments do condemn their actions. Let’s keep doing our best to help the people in Burma fellow bloggers.

About the missing Madeleine McCann, she and her case in Portugal has been all over the news here, and especially the fact that the 1st and 2nd in command by the Portuguese police force have been sacked. This is according to my own views some good news as I couldn’t stand the fact that Portuguese police kept saying how the McCanns were guilty, and playing with the British police and their investigations. Nothing could be farther from the truth, as if one would take the time and do some research in regards, the findings will be that the McCanns have always collaborated with the police forces in Portugal, as well in the UK. And I got tears in my eyes today while reading the story on Sky News about what Kate McCann was saying for the first time since her return to the UK. It’s heart breaking, and I keep praying for this little angel, that she might be found soon and alive, and be together with her loving parents, her brother and sister, and family.

Today is the International Bloggers Day for Free Burma, and of course I and the Totally Uselless blog are ready to place the banner and do whatever it takes to support the hero’s fighting for the freedom of Burma. And not only today, but until the day comes that Burma is finally FREE.

Free Burma banner

Show your support fellow bloggers by going to http://www.free-burma.org and by displaying the banner on your blog. I am sure that if enough of us are doing it – we could create a wave :)
And I am following the daily news about Burma on this site and hope and pray for the monks and civilians that they will survive the detention centers, and that soon, very soon Freedom will be there.
