How is your Sunday going? I enjoyed my day by taking it really slow, and by doing as little as possible, and rest a lot. However, my Internet addiction couldn’t be placed to rest and I had to go and visit many of the blogs that I enjoy reading daily. You buy into many of the things that mainstream society believes, but you’re not anybody’s fool.
It’s been several years now that I started collecting crystal skulls and various minerals. Suddenly last week I got the urge to buy a domain and start a blog about the crystal skulls. Obviously, I had to have a special header made, and find the right theme, and decide how to shape it all. Will this blog be like a daily journal? Or will it be like a novel, or shall I simply write whatever comes to mind? All this took almost a week, and two days ago I finally started writing. Due to being so short in time I am unable to write very long posts, however, I will try to write daily, or at least several times a week. Feel free to ask questions if there is something in particular that you would like me to share with you. I plan to tell it all and to hold nothing back, and will share pictures of my own crystal skulls and the experiences with these. You can visit the site here, and talk to you very soon. Most probably many of you have seen this movie already, but for the once that haven’t seen it as yet - I am highly recommending it. Go and check out the official WarnerBros site for the V for Vendetta. The DVD was just released, yesterday, and Willem and me enjoyed it very much several hours ago.
You will not see me raving a movie if it wasn’t something special, and this one definitely is.

Today I finally decided to do a search about debt and credit counseling that is available in the area where we live. The thing is that a dear friend of mine is unable to cut the credit card usage and whatever she has tried until now has resulted in even more debt. The books and courses that she purchased, have not helped her even a bit, and I feel like she is as addicted on credit card spending as I am addicted on smoking. I tried counseling to get rid of my smoking habit - but guess what - it did not make me quit.
I only spent the money and my time, and for the rest I keep smoking while knowing how bad it is for me. And I spent on books, and DVD’s and whatnot without success.
Sometime I feel jealous of the once among us that are able to quit smoking in a second. The moment that they decide to quit - they simply do it, and never look back. This however is the exception rather than the rule. How can any of us quit their addiction, be it a smoking addiction, or credit card spending addiction without feeling a loser? We have been programmed to get addicted, believe it or not - it is the truth. And some of us are more susceptible than others.
Again and again I watched the movie that made me wake up, and the more I see it the angrier, I get. And the angrier that I get - the more people should be called to wake up from their deep sleep. From the state of being a “sheep”, and to believe everything that is told by their “Shepard”. Wake up people and go to see the movie. Do not mis even a second of it, and watch it again. And again. And I would appreciate your thoughts after having seen it. The info is there for free, and you have nothing to buy or to pay for. This short entry is a tribute to my step father who past away 9 years ago on this day. He was ill for many years and I haven’t as yet met another person with such a passion for life as his. We miss you, love you, and think often of you. Rest in piece.
Two days ago I read in a blog about a different type of social community, and wanted to try it out before recommending this particular one on my own blog. This community is for the once among you who enjoy starting discussions, as much as replying to the once of your interests. And get paid for it too. And even though you will not get rich from it - it does make you feel better, in a way
There are some pro’s and some con’s however…
The pro’s:
1. Getting paid even if it is a cent or two per post and discussion, or an uploaded photo.
2. Making new friends online
3. Getting ideas as to what is popular at the moment.
The con’s:
1. Having to be “a friend” of someone before you are allowed to post comments on his/her thread. Why is this a con? Because until you get approved by the person this particular discussion might not be of interest to you…
2. The payout’s have been reduced by a lot lately, which doesn’t really make any sense. The site has more 102,000 users, and they are making much more now than they were making before, so it doesn’t add up.
3. The FAQ is not really helpful and it takes awhile to get used to how all works on the site.
