Will be back later with more news. And enjoy your day :)

Useful to know what your site is worth?
July 28th, 2007 under Useless news, Useless rants. [ Comments: 2 ]

Just before closing my computer for today I wanted to try a new for me resource on a web directory site - www.dnScoop.com.
I went there because on the Digital Point forum I read that the site had an estimation link for when the next Google PR update will be, and I am talking about the exact date here. After looking around for sometime and not finding what I was looking for, I decided to make use of the value estimation tool, for one of my sites. And I can tell you - I was simply stupefied by the result! My site is worth the nice amount of $82,552! And this is far more than I expected to see :) . So I started checking all the other sites of mine, but I was disappointed with the results right away, and right there. At least I have one of my sites valued at this very nice amount of money and I definitely do not plan to sell it. What I plan to do is working on the site even more, and make it even better, and once the estimation of value has increased two to three times, than maybe I will try selling it, as it will make a nice retirement fund…
Ok, have a nice weekend and will talk to you soon :)

What could a loving cat bring into your life?
July 27th, 2007 under Useless opinions. [ Comments: 3 ]

Today I came accross a very nice and interesting article about Oscar the cat. And I couldn’t help remembering how my own cats felt right away when I was hurting and in pain. They came to exactly the aching spot and started using their healing practice :) This happened when I had a broken leg, a few years ago. My beloved cats were changing places and one after the other came lying on my injured leg and gave me as much loving and cat care one would love to get when feeling hurt. I wish I could share it with a video but haven’t got any of that time. I only have a few pictures of my cats to share with you here.

Chicha Mima Mila and Pimko

Have a great weekend and talk to you soon. :)

Useless arrogance is way to common among the A-List bloggers
July 26th, 2007 under Useless news, Useless opinions. [ Comments: none ]

One of the fellows on MyBlogLog.com community BloggingMix, has written just the right answer to Michael Gray’s video message - which is way too arrogant to be taken lightly. How come that so many among us take their fame for granted and start acting like “God’s”? And even though he is right about the “adding value” thing in his message, who is he to tell people to step away from their keyboards and stop writing about SEO as there are enough highly regarded and ranked blogs dealing with it?
See the video and the answer of and let your thoughts in regards be known :).

Shocking truth - but useless news if not used
July 26th, 2007 under Useless news, Useless opinions. [ Comments: none ]

Shocking truth - poisonous mercury fillings

Have you heard about this already? I have, and in fact I have been asking questions, such as, how come the dentists are still allowed to use such fillings in our teeth. How come all of us keep paying for our health insurances, but instead of us being protected and our health preserved we get poisoned so that the medicine producing companies keep earning more and more while we get sicker and sicker, and die from unknown causes. Isn’t this simply scandalous and criminal? And even if we all know it, the fact that no action has been taken by the governments of all the countries where such practices are taking place, means only one thing, more should be done by ourselves, and that we cannot count on others for the way we are protected.

Maybe when you watch this video shortly you will like to share it with the people you care for? I certainly hope so, and wish that more and more will do it. Otherwise our knowledge is and will remain useless.
Take care and will talk to you soon.

The train on Technorati for us all :)
July 21st, 2007 under Uncategorized, Useless rants. [ Comments: 2 ]

On one of the blogs that I am reading today I found a way to get higher rankings on Technorati. Lylly Feel Happy writes about the Technorati Train and I decided to follow her. Thank you Lilly. This is really an easy way to get more exposure and is definitely most useful as opposed to totally useless :)

Please follow the guidelines and be fair, by doing it - all great things will start happening after you do your part!

***Start Copying Here***

IF YOU WANT A HIGHER TECHNORATI RATING - TELL ME! GET ON BOARD!

It’s easy and worth it. If you want to move up in Technorati there are 2 ways to get there: gaining massive amounts of links to you from other blogs, or getting the most favourites. One thing you can do is get lots of favourites who favourite you in return! Before you start you may want to grab this supercool autofave program from Eng Tech. All the people who have favourited you, this automatically favourites them in return. No more excuses for not returning the favour! Automatic Technorati Fave program the coolest program ever! Finds fans that have favorited you and automatically favorites them!
grab the program here [2.4MB].(Reword the following paragraph a little. The Lilly link should be changed to link to who you got this from {Thefortunes}.Move the 5 new faves (one is you) to old faves below Gary Lee.

Add 5 new people to new faves. Each name linked to their blog, and Fave the site is the link on their technorati fave widget on their site. AND, name THE WHOLE POST DIFFERENT FROM MINE!)

The time has come for me to get up on the Technorati Fave Train. I was added to the Technorati Fave Train by Janice. The Train was started at Gary Lee.

So, do you want to ride the train? Here are the rules:

1. Write a short introduction paragraph about what how you found the list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.

2. COPY the Rules and ENTIRE List below and post it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can accessible for, go ahead and change the titles of the blog.Just don’t change the links of the blog.

3. Take “My New Faves” and move them into the “The Original Faves” list.

4. Add at least 3 Blogs that you’ve just added to your Technorati Favorites to the “My New Faves” section. Remember to also add the “Fave Me” link next to your new blogs (i.e. http://technorati.com/faves?add=http://www.yourdomain.com)

5. Add Everyone on this list to your Technorati Favorites List by clicking on “Fave the Site.” (Please FAVE EVERYONE on the List prior to posting the list or a Kitten will Die Alone in a Dark Alley Tonight). Those who want good karma will fave you back. If not, you will for sure get the benefits of faves from the bloggers who continue this list after you.

Is summer totally useless for business online?
July 18th, 2007 under Useless opinions, Useless rants. [ Comments: none ]

How is your summer going? Do you enjoy your holiday somewhere right now, while having your notebook with you? To check your online income, sales, ad network(s) earnings, and stay in touch with your family and friends? Or are you still in your home town and not planning to take a week or two and enjoy some free and quality time?
Do you buy products on Amazon and, or on eBay? I do and for me does not matter if it summer or winter as I love buying books and some collectors items. Most of the usual customers however stay off line during their holiday, or at least they do not frequent sites to buy things. They enjoy themselves and prefer spending their cash not on the Net, but in the real world. Sales drop during summer for most products and services, or at least this is what I see and hear around. And the same goes for my products on a few auction sites that I use. Most of my sites get fewer visitors thus the ad networks income is less as well.
How is your business online going during summertime? And if we do not earn enough during the slow summer months why should we spend our so precious time in useless busyness? After all life is short and no amount of money could buy lost time back for us. I would hate to feel sorry when I am old and unable to enjoy life even if I can, of why haven’t I taken the time to smell the roses while I was able to… Don’t you feel like this sometimes? Share your thoughts and experiences too please, and talk to you soon :)
