Double Rainbow in the Middle of a Road…
We went to Amsterdam yesterday but the weather sucked totally, and I wasn’t in the mood of shooting whatsoever with the rain. While on our way back I kept moaning to my partner, as to why oh why I had no luck in shooting a rainbow. Well friends, no idea how I called it on me, but we were almost back home when I saw a rainbow! And not one, but two rainbows
So I started yelling to Willem, please, turn the car around, and lets go find where it starts
And so he did, and you can watch the short video that I shot after the couple of captures taken on this same road.
The same rainbows taken from the car and behind the wet carglass
alsmost the sky only:
And here is the short video:

Talk about being at the right place, right time. I’ve personally never been that close to a rainbow before.
Oddly enough, I’m playing through the original Zork, and *just* got past the rainbow bridge. I know, this probably doesn’t ring a bell with you, but it’s is oddly synchronistic to this post. Weird….

Beautiful images. For this the wide angle lens would be perfect. I did to see the other day double rainbow, and we saw where it started too. BTW this was the time that Matthew saw his rainbow for the first time, for a one year old he is very observant and he notices the smallest things on the sky, and he knows the moon. Thanks for your post, it was fun! Anna
