Numerology and the Meaning of Number 11
This is not something that I often talk about, and especially on the Totally Useless blog. So much is happening right now in the world, and we are in a year 11, which has not happened since 1910. 11 is also my birth number and here is a short explanation of number 11 in our Western Astrology that I found on thedreamtime.com site
11 True Disicples, the sea, holly.
Astrology: Neptune ruler of Libra Idealistic, visionary, inspiring as a teacher, spiritual, a martyr. A great spiritual person and idealist. Determined to help others. Friendly and genial, may be a perfectionist.
Since 11 disciples of the 12 decided to remain true to Jesus 11 is symbolically seen as morally courageous, visionary insightfull, poweful as a teacher and inspiring to others. Another clue can be found in the 11th sign of the Zodiac (Aquarius) which stands for determination to help others by pouring out your faith (as water) and vision to a parched world.
Character traits: The vibration of the 11 is essentially the 2 vibration raised to a higher level and with a little more idealism/self-righteousness thrown in: Idealistic, intuitive and visionary. Highly sensitive and emotional. Very determined in completing tasks. Determined and aware of what others think. Intuitive rather than rational and may not be good in business because the clarity of rational thinking is more important in that realm. Good at comforting others, Co-operative and good-natured, symphathetic and understanding, helpful and good at keeping a secret. Gets along well with others. Likes detail and settled routine somewhat as long as others are around.
Negative tendencies: Loving ideals more than fellow men, providing universal remedies without appreciating human needs. May be a dreamer rather than a doer.
You could listen to the 31-12-2008 radio show of Jennifer Hoffman and you will hear her explain that 2009 is an 11 year, a master number in numerology, and we have not had that since 1901 and 1910. To hear Jennifer talk about such things like polarity, and aligning to the higher vibrations, and much more in this 90 minutes recording.

I am a Christian. I have just been told that I am an 11 by a numerologist. The reading was so accurate that I decided to do some research about this number. I’ve had ups an downs in my life, but Im not bitter; I just take them as learning experiences. Many strange, unexplained things have happened in my life. I wonder sometimes if it is mere coincidence or something more. I’ve always felt that I have some other energy that I must tap into this lifetime. I don’t want to seem wierd or strange. I am only 33 but I’ve already touched so many people lives. Everything says that 11′s are inspirational. Well I’m releasing an inspirational album this year 2009 and had no idea about this stuff.
