I have yet to find anyone stealing my photos, I’m sorry that it happened to you. I believe I read the discussion at BS about this, and the idea of it being better because it’s not in commercial use is agreeable. What I’d suggest you do is not putting a graphic right in the middle of the photo, it really takes away from the image. Do put your copyright on it somewhere though. I never post a photo online without my sig and copyright in the bottom corner. It’s that or not post photos at all, and that’s not fun!

Ahhh. Hello this is internet. anything You put anywhere near internet isn’t something that You should be worried about being stolen. secondly it’s a photo not your Your life get over it. You americans amaze me about how defensive You are about completely useless things while being extremely liberal with human or even an animal lives. Art has always and should forever be free for anyone to use otherwise it isn’t art.
BTW I am aware that Your ancestry isn’t from America, but You obviously are.

Saint_Sinner, you are way out of line here. First of all I am not living in the US but in Europe. 2nd, who are you to come and tell me what I should and should not feel about my work being stolen? Besides, where have you heard this joke about art being free? The only art for free one can find on the city walls, and these could hardly be classified as art, even though, some are beautiful. And by the way, my ancestry isn’t Russian even though my 1st name could be considered as such. And no Russian blood running through my veins, Sergey.

You are the kind of person that I am always trying to avoid.
